Tuesday, June 19, 2018
Here’s a diagram of the basic code standards. It does not matter whether it is a kitchen, bathroom, laundry, or bar sink.
- Trap weir, also called trap seal, minimum of 2” and maximum of 4”
- Maximum length of trap arm variable based on diameter of pipe
- 30” maximum from sink outlet to centerline of trap
- 24” maximum from bottom of sink to trap seal
- 6” maximum difference between bottom of sinks served by one trap
