Wood siding is not used that much anymore in our area. Vinyl and fiber-cement siding are cheaper install, and require less maintenance than wood. But many homebuyers admire the look of wood siding, and the new engineered wood with a 50-year warranty (shown above) is taking back some of the market from fiber-cement.
